They did a butter burger I think, and they've yet to repeat. But I know that they talk about repeating eventually, so if you're in there be sure to tell them your favorite! As for me, I'll be pulling for the burnt end burger. I've begged them for a best-of series, maybe a month with a fan-favorite every Monday.
And the doughnut burger? I predict this one will sell quickly; get there early...
I got the burnt end burger around 7:20, and they sold out soon after (I saw at least two more come out to the bar after mine). It was fantastic - raw onions, jack cheese and a grainy mustard. I think that they usually put brisket into the blend, but the burnt ends put it over the top. This was one of the best special burgers I've had there yet. Apparently everyone was ordering it, so they blew through them quickly... I typically do try to get there by 6:30, especially if I want the special burger - I was running late, but I guess I just got lucky last night!
Hi all, I'm buying a gift for a neighbor office in my building, and I'm looking for food suggestions. They have around 65 employees and I want to spend $250 - $500. I kind of wanted to do something unique - sure, we could send them a pizza lunch or a big Dean and Deluca spread (which we might wind up doing) but I was trying to think of something a little different. Any ideas?

I had the lox on mine and it was fantastic. The soft lox blended really well with the patty and the onions and spread complemented both. I agree about the bagel though. I get the theme, but we were saying that maybe even scooping the bagel would have helped a little. I am glad that they didn't put this on their regular bun though. I think that this burger called for something different, I just don't know what... maybe a ciabatta bun?
