The Best Cupcakes in New York City

Aww I can't believe Butter Lane isn't one of the top 12. That's one of my faves because it has the best moussey, airy French frosting ever, served at the perfect ratio!

Yay for more fruits & ice cream!! But I still eat chocolate even though a lot of ppl think it's disgusting to do so in the summer.

'Slice' Poll: Pineapple Pizza - Way or No Way?

Ok, if Max Brenner's could serve chocolate pizza and get away with it, I'm pretty sure some pineapple toppings won't destroy the traditional pizza. It's actually surprisingly delicious if you've tried it!

And I don't know where this whole NYers are prejudiced against pineapples stigma came from, because I've been born and bred in the city but pineapple is one of my favorite toppings...

What's Your Favorite Cupcake In New York?

BUTTER LANE!!! The french frostings are so light and whipped while the cake is fresh, fluffy, warm, and just the right amount of sweetness (and actually has some flavor unlike some bakeries which use intense frosting to cover up crappy cake).
However, Red Hens' Brooklyn Blackouts and Pinisi's red velvets are also superb

Original and inspiring restaurantconcepts in New York?

I love the conveyor-belt sushi served at East. The toro is uber-delicious, and I'm very impressed by the marketing strategy. The display of the sushi shooting out of the conveyor belt, urging you to grab the plates before someone else does makes you completely forget about money constraints. The prices were color-coded on the plates, but that's the least thing you pay attention to when you are enjoying the sushi. It was a fun and delicious experience!
