This is so true! I am a bartender and I actually found myself laughing out loud at some of these scenarios because they always happen, especially the "I know the owner" one. One of my personal pet peeves when bartending is when someone keeps screaming an order in your face when you're clearly making another customer's order. It's so rude. You can be sure I don't serve that person next!

You're all going to make fun of me... I stayed at my guy friends' apartment new years eve/new years and in the morning the only appetizing food I could find was quaker oatmeal packets (note.. we are poor college students). Anyways, I put two packets in a bowl and added some milk and was about to put it in the microwave when, of course, the microwave wouldn't work. So, I ate cold, soggy, milky oats as my first meal. Disgusting, I know.
We went to a nice sushi restaurant for lunch so that made up for it :)

@jo_wang.. I do that same thing as you! I take off the cheese and other toppings and save those for after eating the plain crust/base.. the cheese is the best part, in my opinion, so it has to be saved for last!
Fruity pebbles, cinnamon toast crunch, reese's puffs, and french toast crunch (though I don't think this is made anymore?) were always my favorites as a child.
I used to LOVE the white chocolate peanut butter truffle cheesecake offered from the cheesecake factory. it was my ultimate favorite.. too bad it's not on the menu anymore.
I guess adam's peanut butter cup fudge ripple cheesecake willl have to sufffice :)
also, the banana cream and godiva chocolate look fantastic!
way back when I was in gradeschool, my friends and I would always eat pizza rolls at sleepovers. I discovered that pizza rolls dipped in A1 sauce are delicious :)

Once a year in Cincinnati, Larosa's (a local chain pizza restaurant) has a limited edition "Montgomery Inn Topper" pizza, in which pizza dough is covered in Montgomery Inn barbecue sauce, shredded chicken, and cheese. It is by far the best pizza I have ever tasted in my life! So, I say heck yes to chicken on pizza!

I remember once as a little girl (I think it was my 2nd birthday) my mom made a cake shaped like me and decorated the outfit to look like the one I was wearing that day. While taking pictures, my clumsy uncle tilted it up and it fell off the pan onto the floor :( But I will never forget it! haha
From about age 8 to 17, my mom would always make me a homemade strawberry cake, with homemade strawberry buttercream, adorned with, you guessed it, strawberries.
And my grandma would always buy me an opera cream cake from the bonbonerie bakery in cincinnati....opera cream cake is their specialty!
