Wow. Wow. This is one tasty post. My brain actually went into a state of apoplexy when considering all the options and trying to select a favorite. My most memorable burgers are fancy pants but I most frequently eat smash burgers.

Josh is hilarious in this video! We have a Cheeburger near us in Princeton, and it is one of our kids' favorite places. We have always had good experiences there. The onion rings are excellent and deadly! The burgers are decent but not stellar. They come fresh and made to order and consistently tasty (at least at this location). I have never been to any other locations. This is not my first pick when I get a jonesing for a hamburger as we just got a Five Guys opened nearby. Now I can get a consistently decent burger and save a few dollars off what Cheeburger would charge.
Dear AHT: Have You Ever Gotten Food Poisoning from a Burger?
About 15 years ago, I got food poisoning from a burger I ordered at a Friendly's. The problem wasn't the meat, it was the mayo that had sat out all day. I was in so much pain that I thought I was going to die. Never ordered any regular food from them again (ice cream is ok). I typically get all my burgers medium-rare and have never got anything bad from the meat. However, I try to only go to reputable places.
