I'm not sure what made me do it (I think it was the photo). I've never braised or zested anything in my life. But I made it, and this is one seriously delicious meal.

I know, I know. I cringed when I first logged on to Serious Eats early this morning and saw this question in the sidebar on the main page. But Kbear's question -- though not the most appetizing thing to read over breakfast -- seemed sincere and was tangentially food-related. Maybe Dr. Oz is a better place for it, but I'd rather allow this thread run its natural course than zap it.

I totally agree, that the question is probably inappropriate for a food site, however, some of the answers did make me laugh. I also do not like Dr. Oz. But what is the difference, if he can answer your question!
