Sugar Rush: 'Swirly Dots' from the Newly Unveiled Treats Truck

Hey Zach, maybe she did three flavors today, but when I went it was Mint Chocolate and Lemon Raspberry, not Strawberry. Either way, they were delicious.

Cook the Book: The River Cottage Cookbook

I'm going to be trying my hand at the usual herbs, dill, parsley, lavender, and rosemary, as well as strawberries! I read a lot about the pesticides used on them, so I decided to try to grow my own. Hopefully I'll get enough for at least one shortcake.

Brownie Boxing: Ghirardelli vs. Jacques Torres

I force my good friend's mom to buy the Ghirardelli Triple Chocolate Mix at Costco for me. It is, by far, the best box brownie out there.

Wonderful lamb cake. My mother has that mold too, but we eat it with just a dusting of powdered sugar. I called her just the other night to confirm that we'll have all the ingredients when I get home.

I never knew ____ could be so complicated!

Right now, it's also any yeast bread. I can make a quick bread fine, but I am just finally getting over my fear of baking with yeast.

hot fudge sundaes, chocolate, and snickers. My dad LOVED snickers so it gives me a certain level of comfort.

Classic Cookbooks: 'Joy of Cooking' Chicken Divan

The 'updated' may actually be the classic recipe. The 1997 edition was the revised and updated one. For the 75th anniversary, the publisher decided to return to the earlier and simpler recipes, as well as using Rombauer's original voice. I find that the recipes from the 2006 edition are much more appealing than the ones in the '97 version.

I'll take it any way I can get it. You can get me to eat anything, including scorpions, by dipping it in chocolate.

Mint juleps! Forget mojitos, I prefer this classic work of art in bourbon, mint, sugar and ice - the perfect compliment to relaxing on a porch swing or rocker.

I have recently been drinking watermelon slushies!
They taste great and they're low-cal. Just put crushed ice and watermelon cubes in a blender for about 5 seconds and you have a great summertime drink!

My fave summer drink is a big pitcher of Sangria, with fresh peach slices and other summer fruits floating in it...its like a snack and an alcoholic bevvie and a thirst quencher, all in one! (And I would share the pitcher, in case anyone was wondering...)

About: If I won't eat it, then it's inedible. Seriously, I'll eat anything, especially if it's been dipped in chocolate.

Favorite foods: Chocolate, cheese, cake, cookies, dessert in general, belgian waffles, nutella, fruits, egg rolls, all nuts, peanut butter, pancakes, sausages, and tj's high fiber cereal.

Last bite on earth: A cheese course with mac and cheese and a grilled cheese followed by a bacon cheddar cheeseburger (medium please) with a chocolate milkshake. Then german chocolate cake and those chocolate truffles I had in Brugges that never made it to Paris.
