Cook the Book: 'Margaritas, Mojitos & More'
Limes is my #1 garnish. I don't care for olives, but I do like a green one stuffed with blue cheese floating in a martini.
Cook the Book: 'Top Chef'
The only thing I can make without having to follow a recipe is fried rice! I'd suck in any cooking competition.
Häagen-Dazs Flavor Preview Giveaway
I'm willing to be celibate for a month for these. And that's a challenge, people!
Cook the Book: Nigella Express
Wash all herbs immediately after I bring them home from the market. That way, they are washed and ready to be used any time. A major time saver for me is to clean while I cook.
Eating for Two: How Do You Love Sardines, Tell Me All the Ways
Squeeze of lemon juice and tad of olive oil (unless packed in oil) on top of toasted bread. Or add in a Vietnamese banh mi sandwich instead of the beef or pork.
Cook the Book: 'Panini Express'
Grilled version of a caprese salad, all grilled veggie, or 3 cheese. I haven't met a panini I don't like!
Photo of the Day: Bahn Mi Closeup
My fave sandwich as well. I salivate thinking about the pickled carrots & daikon.
Sandwich Lover? Let's build!
Easy to make, no utensils required, versatile...what's not to love? The Vietnamese banh mi is my fave sandwich. But I can't say no to a grilled cheese, BLT, almond butter & jelly, any veggie combo - grilled or fresh.
Cook the Book: Win a Copy of 'Cook with Jamie'
Mom, when I was younger and lived at home. I still use a lot of the skills and techniques she taught me, but I've also picked up quite a bit from watching Food Network and good ol' Martha.

Since the kids have left the nest, I never have anyone to eat with anymore. I am embarrassed to say it's usually the mayonnaise and banana sandwich or a baked potato for me. I need some new ideas. lol
Cook the Book: Serves One
The dish of choice would have to be baby spinach, bibb lettuce, portabello mushrooms, sliced Vidalia white onions, toasted almonds in a Balsamic vinegar and olive oil vinaigrette.
Cook the Book: Serves One
I like to make a casserole or big dish of something so I can eat off of it the whole week. Homecooked all week and only actually cooking once.

For me, it doesn't get much better than a grilled egg and cheddar cheese sandwich slathered with Kraft mayo! YUMMY!! Thanks for the giveaway!
