If Pizza Hut counts as a pizzeria, I worked at one for 3 summers during college. They did one stupid promo where we had to place a stop clock on the patrons' tables who ordered personal pan pizza's. If we did not get it there within the 5 minutes, they got it for free. We ran so hard for 2 strait hours, never gave away a free pizza but found that the quality of service went down, PH never did it again. Worked there back in the day when a Pizzone was called a Calizza...I like the sound of Calizza (ca-leet-za) better.

Pan fried spaghetti, anyone?

We do this with leftover spaghetti. Mix in some sauce with the cooked spaghetti and toss in a skillet that has a bit of olive oil. Fry and fight over the crispy parts!

Etiquette for Eating on Planes/Trains/Buses

I do pack some healthy snacks for my children. The one time I did not and relied on the airplane food, my one son could not eat any of the offerings due to a severe nut allregy- everything offered had nuts- it made for a long 4 hour flight. So now I am prepared with a little something, just in case. We also try to make a "Day" of it and eat at a sit-down restaurant in the airport before boarding. It costs a bit more but we are all full and relaxed.

Dinner Tonight: Chicken Parmesan

This is a favorite of mine. I cut mine in half and still pound them but that may be overkill. This recipe looks great and fried in olive oil too, yum!

PS I ordered this dish in a restaurant once and it did not have the breading, what?! That's the best part.
