"Wow" Bites in NYC

I decided to make a list of what I call my favorite "Wow Bites" - a bite that makes you say "Wow", and keeps you coming back for more. I thought it would be fun to post my list and see what readers' other "Wow Bites" are.

Here's my list:

1) A fatty, juicy piece of Momofuku Ssam Bar's "Bo Ssam" pork butt with sugary pieces of cracklins mixed in
2) The sample bite of "Katz's Pastrami" given by the butchers at Katz's Deli
3) A bite of Momofuku Milk Bar's "Pork and Egg Bun" with a big piece of pork soaked in the runny egg yolk
4) Locanda Verde's "Sheep's Milk Ricotta" on a toasted piece of crostini
5) A fatty bite of Hill Country's "Moist Brisket"
6) The first bite of the "Steak for 4" at Peter Luger's Steakhouse right off the sizzling platter, dipped in its juices
7 tie) The first bite of a Di Fara's slice after watching Dom create it for 60+ minutes, topped with freshly cut basil and a generous portion of grated parm
7 tie) A bite of Lucali's plain pie with basil, dipped in a side of marinara sauce
8) The first bite of the "Dulce de Leche" doughnut at Doughnut Plant, when you first reach the cream filling
9) A bread-y, banana-ey spoonful of the "Banana Pudding" at Magnolia Bakery
10) An eggy bite of the brioche from Egg's "Eggs Rothko", topped with a piece of their "Candied Bacon" and the "Broiled Tomatoes"
11) A forkfull of the "Sturgeon, Lox, Eggs, and Onions Scramble", placed on a piece of a toasted everything bagel from Barney Greengrass
12) The last bite of a smashed-style burger from Shake Shake/Bill's/RUB, which has soaked up all of the juices and flavor.
13) A monster bite of the bacon-wrapped "Tsunami" dog at Crif Dogs, including the teryaki, pineapple, and green onions (note: must be later than 2am)
14) A bite of a fresh-out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookie from Levain Bakery.
15) A bite of the "De Paballon" arepa from Caracas, with the correct ratio of shredded beef, salty cheese, and sweet plantains
