Yes, Safeway sucks in ways that other stores can only dream of sucking. They have redefined sucking to suck to all new heights. They HAD safe food. Read that again: SAFE FOOD. And they took it off the shelf. How do you suck beyond that?

Well raw eggs do pose a risk. Especially if you're immune compromised -- young, elderly, pregnant, sick -- really a lot of people if you think about it. These are made with pasteurized eggs, I'm sure.
If only pasteurized shell eggs were available to us here in the east. Check them out at safeeggs.com. We should all demand them in our grocery stores.

Trust me, the egg industry is not a fan of any other product that implies that there is something "wrong" with theirs. If you don't believe me, just ask them.

I went to Publix today to buy eggs for my sister who is on chemo. I usually buy pasteurized eggs in the shell because they are safe for her in her weakened condition. And this is what I found instead.
