A Spork For All Seasons

My girlfriend and I got the bamboo ones at Green Fest and we take them camping every time! So useful (and cute).

It closed? Dang!
And I agree with the Stumptown suggestion. That's some mighty fine coffee.

Sinju for sushi, though Saburo in Sellwood is also great. And if you like pizza- and I mean substantially topped pizza, Flying Pie is superb! For breakfast (either in the morning or late at night) VooDoo donuts is fun. It's been on a lot of food shows, but it's still fun to visit (and the donuts are tasty). That Italian Joint (yeah, that's the name) is good, too. And if you like Beer, any McMenamins or Bridgeport Alehouse would be good- though the food's not always exciting at McMenamins. And there's a great desert place, Pap Hayden's, on NW 23rd, just down the street from Music Millenium.

Top-Quality Drinks, Bargain-Rack Prices

I'm a pretty big bourbon enthusiast and I've not had any Evan since college. I have a few brands that I like, but one less-expensive one in particular is Bulleit. It's not much more than Evan (or his cousin Dickle), and tastes a lot better than Evan did. On the higher end, Blanton's is worth it no matter the price.
A great up-and-coming Rye (or rather one that is making a return) is Sazerac. It's comparably priced with Bulleit and makes a great mint julep! The last time I checked, I saw them both for under $20 and sometimes they show up for less than $15.
