Grass Fed Burger at Burger Lounge in San Diego
@pinkstripes: I've been to the Coronado spot several times when visiting my wife's family, and have to say that Burger Lounge makes simply the best Veggie Burger I've ever had. Quinoa? Yes, quinoa. For real. And I would also holler for the Onion Rings as well. It's a class place, and knocks NYCs veggie burgers fully out of the water. If that's your thing.
Cook the Book: 'A16 Food + Wine'
A 1955 Petrus...Robert Parker came into the restaurant I was working in, many years ago, presenting the bottle with great flourish to impress his date. He had all of a glass and a half of it over dinner, made some chitchat with my co-captain and myself, and, when they finished and stood up, he left us the balance 'to enjoy'. And we certainly did...we spent two hours talking about that wine afterwards, as we took these tiny, starburst sips.

Wonder how the flavor of Martha's caramelized garlic compares with that method for "confit garlic" that that NYT article on Thomas Keller mentioned several months back...
