A First Visit to Saraghina, Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn
I have no interest in this pizza place, but I find this review the epitome of cowardliness.
It is clearly undercooked, yes, so you grow a pair and send it back should the pie not meet your 'expert' expectations. But I do guess smearing a relatively new business on the internet is safer than actually having to speak to a real live human...

Lauren - "Burger Queen" smacks more of gay bashing, which is equally offensive if you have absolutely no sense of humor.
Does Anyone Still Eat Chicken-Fried Steak?
Ed -
Funny that you mention chicken fried steak, as Marlow and Sons (on Broadway in Williamsburg, Brooklyn) just had a take on cfs on in their specials menu when I was there Wednesday evening. It looked delicious, but I can't speak to its authenticity.

@aungeinphx -Pickle juice sounds great! I'll be trying that :)
Morning Cocktails, When 'Rise and Shine' Meets 'Bottoms Up!'
I'm open to A.M. cocktails- mimosas, screwdrivers, harvey wallbangers, oh and don't forget boozy coffee/ cocoa drinks when it's cold!
My BF loves his bloodymary's- I would love to partake- it always sounds good...but tomato juice makes me gag.

i'm definitely the girl who orders a margarita (rocks, salt) with her brunch. and i never hear the end of it.
Morning Cocktails, When 'Rise and Shine' Meets 'Bottoms Up!'
I am so addicted to bloody caesars, in the afternoon when I work a busy lunch shift cooking. I love absolute peppar, its the spicy part of the vodka no hot pepper needed with that!
Morning Cocktails, When 'Rise and Shine' Meets 'Bottoms Up!'
I adore bloody mary's any time of the day! Mine is constructed like this-
tall glass, lot of ice, V-8, chilled vodka, shake or two of celery salt, two drops of worcestshire, one or two drops hot sauce, teensiest smidge of pickle juice, two olives, sqeeze of lime. If i'm feeling a little frisky, i'll stick a stalk of celery in it and walk around outside so the neighbors can see. :)
Morning Cocktails, When 'Rise and Shine' Meets 'Bottoms Up!'
Bloody mary made with tomato juice AND v-8, vodka (natch), lots of hot sauce, lots of pepper, horseradish, and garlic or jalapeno stuffed green olives.
I like it spicy!
Morning Cocktails, When 'Rise and Shine' Meets 'Bottoms Up!'
As a Canuck, I would make a Caesar this way:
• very tall glass rimmed with celery salt and coarse peppercorns,
• fill 1/2 way with cubes
• 4 drops of worchester
• 1 tsp of horseradish
• extra black pepper
• 2 Tbsp of Franks red hot sauce (I like'em spicy, yeah~!)
• 1oz. Absolut Vodka (some might suggest the lime flavour)
• 1/2oz. gold tequilla
• Fill with Mott's Clamato (I noticed that most americans use V8 or tomato juice instead of Clamato, but I think the clam makes it)
Garnish: Celery, lime and cocktail shrimp
If I'm hungover and then have one of these, I'm cured :)

that makes a lot of sense. our burger was overcooked to well done yet was incredibly juicy. and those chips on the side? from a bag.
No Whopper for You! Burger King 'Discontinues' Its Signature Sandwich
Proud at being among the not-so-lowest-common denominator of fast food lovers, I was almost in tears watching these poor folks express their love and desire for the Whopper. So this means that BK is riding on one product alone?
(Just call me "Burger Queen". I won't take offense!)
No Whopper for You! Burger King 'Discontinues' Its Signature Sandwich
We've been seeing snippets of this video and other similar ones in TV ads for a week or so now, way out west along the Rio Grande. Hate to bust BK's bubble, but Whoppers are to burgers what Coors and Bud are to beer: mass produced and no cometition to local, hand-crafted varieties. Cute ad, tho.

Not picking on you, Adam, just the statement itself. You're a well represented equal burger opportunist, no worries.
No Whopper for You! Burger King 'Discontinues' Its Signature Sandwich
Launate: It's true. McDonald's and Wendy's partisans would have the same reaction, I'm sure. Too bad they didn't think of the same faux-Punk'd prank first!
No Whopper for You! Burger King 'Discontinues' Its Signature Sandwich
OK. Lauren and BCT, you are both correct. I'm sorry for the error in judgment. Watching it again, I can see that that statement was lame. Apologies all around. I think most regular readers know AHT is neither sexist or homophobic, so I've subbed a better quote for the offending one. Thanks for calling me out.
