Cioppino and Crusty Bread. Simple no stress just enjoyment.
If I can nag my DH into helping me clear a spot I will have tomatoes, radishes, eggplant, onion, green beans(on poles) cucumbers, peppers(hot and green), summer squash, zuchinni, sweet corn and maybe even start an asparagus bed. Oh almost forgot-peas and cabbage if I get started early enough.
My Aunt Dora made the BEST cornbread. I really should have paid attention while she was still with us. Alas, Aunt Dora is know serving cornbread in heaven.

Smoked turkey, gorgonzola and sun-dried tomatoes. Yummers.
On Friday evenings during spring and summer, family members and friends get together and have drinks and appetizers on our patio. My SIl brings the champagne to drink and everyone contributes to the meal. Always a wonderful time.
