Taste Test: Haribo Gummy Bears, German vs. American (Turkish)

Loved reading this :) I knew there was a difference! So thank you for this article and clarifying...
My husband's from Germany and we always bring back bags of Haribo Goldbären. Funny thing was, when he was little his Grandmother would let him snack on them because of the fruit juice!

Kimchi Fried Rice

I love kimchi fried rice! Especially with a fried egg on top...yum. I like to add in some extra greens like bok choy or broccoli rabe.

Sa Aming Nayon: Filipino Fare in the East Village

I grew up eating Filipino food and lived in California for a few years (where there's definitely a lot more Filipino restaurants), so I'm very excited to try this place out and all the other Filipino restaurants in NYC. The Crispy Pata looks amazing... Ang sarap naman!

Do or Dine: A Whacked-Out But Charming Bed-Stuy Eatery

My husband and I have been here for dinner a few times with friends and we've been happy each visit. Their menu is very unique and playful, so if you like different, this is your place. I agree with having the Foie Gras Doughnut as a starter to share and if you're a fried whole fish fan, I'd recommend 'A Fish & Some Chips'. The space inside and out are cool, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable... Granted, they're new so everything wasn't perfect, but all in all we were pretty happy and will definitely go back.
