Zagat vs. Yelp: A Restaurant Review 2.0 Showdown?

Zagat seems totally obsolete to me at this point. I second mepm231's recommendation of using a combination. I rely on Yelp and Chowhound for reviews. You do have to take the good and the bad with a grain of salt because some people get a bit enthusiastic when posting either exaggerating the positive or the negative, but if there are at least 4-5 reviews and some comments, I think using the user-generated reviews from Yelp and Chowhound yields better dining satisfaction than Zagat.

Cilantro is my favorite as well. I have been known to make salads with cilantro featured so heavily that it makes up half of the greens! I've heard some interesting descriptions of its flavor from people who don't love it, one of my friends things it tastes like aluminum foil. I disagree!

We are naturally a progressive society which means the internet will progressively steal market share wherever it can compete with an offline product. Every business owner will need an internet marketing plan.

I'm a salt freak. I must have 10 varieties...ile de re sea salt/fleur de sel...smoked salt...pink salt...black salt...ginger salt...onion salt...garlic salt...curing salt...I could go on and on...

I'm also a certified honey freak. So much variety there as well...

@joessausage-I am extraordinarily jealous of your forthcoming horseradish harvest!~

The standbys mentioned by everyone are all essential! Just depends on what you are cooking. But for experiments-- I love cardamom in western-style desserts--it's as great in apple recipes as it is in kulfi. Black pepper is also good in sweets.
I've also heard cilantro described as soapy. I feel for those people who can't enjoy cilantro.
What's IPA? I'm such a n00b.
