The stove you see on the side of the oven is a 1929 Coal Stove not wood. And the flue is not connected to the Coal Oven as you can see the flue to the coal oven is going straight up.

The coal i am burning is low sulfur coal and very safe and no odor. You can't smell the coal burning or see smoke because it's smokeless. My coal is very safe.
