Where Do You Get Your Favorite Pizza?

Locally, Totonno's on Neptune Ave (with fresh basil on top) and Grimaldi's on Old Fulton (with roasted peppers).

Out of town, Chick DeLorenzo's on Hudson Street in Trenton, NJ. The white clam pie is superb.

Best ever, the pizza of my childhood, devoured at Joe’s Tomato Pies on South Clinton Avenue. Sadly, Joe and his wonderful tomato pies are long gone, but will never be forgotten. Simply the best.

Slice Walk: Park Slope

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you about Joe's of Park Slope (137 7th Avenue). I stopped in for the first time yesterday and, at the insistence of the staff, tried the pie topped with crushed tomatoes, mozzarella, fresh herbs & drizzled with olive oil. It was a delicious pie with a thin crust so crisp it crackled every time I bit down. As for the service, it couldn't have been better or more gracious. I think you should give them another try.

Where should I go to get some amazing Lemon Bars?

Not a bakery, but a deli with branches all over Manhattan & DC: Devon & Blakely. I don't know who makes their lemon squares, but they are really good -- lemony and not too sweet, not too tart.

If you are close enough, they'll even deliver. :)

Disaster. Many years ago, I was poor and dumb and tried to substitute cheap margarine for the butter needed in Greek Butter Cookies. Bleech!

Favorite Trader Joe's items?

TJ's freeze dried fruit is great -- the mangosteen, rambutan, pineapple & mango are all fantastic, delicious & nutritious.
