The first time I had it was when I was a kid and stayed at the Drake Hotel in Chicago. I thought it was the most exotic thing I had ever had :) Thanks for the reminder - it's a good summertime breakfast.

I'm T2 diabetic, and eat low-carb because I have no desire to lose fingers or my eyesight. I am medication free and my blood sugar is normal. Needless, I don't have "cheat" days, and I'd eat the angus burger (without the chipotle sauce, which is probably filled with carbs) - but it really angers me when people make ignorant statements about low-carb being a "fad" diet. It's not a fad. It literally saved my life.

I think I've found my new activity for when my husband goes on business trips. This plus some Sex and the City reruns: a girl version of the couch party!

The Miami chef with the "cold blood" really annoys me - making the crack about Maryland blue crabs being inferior to her ginormous king crabs. I'm from Maryland and if she doesn't understand the delicacy of our local blue crabs I've got no patience with her. I was cringing when some of the chefs were covering up the flavor with crazy juniper sauces and making them into CHOWDERS. Oy vey.

The only thing I need is spicy coconut Thai soup - I'm amused to note the inclusion above. Something about the spicy creaminess is very healing.

I've had the Amy's soup version in a can and it's not bad in a pinch.

I'd just like to know if Taco Bell can still make me a Bell Beefer. Or a side of those delicious refried beans they used to sell in the early 80s, with gloopy melted cheese on top.

When I travel and stop at a rest stop, I want one of those trashy hotdogs that are on that roller machine, a soft pretzel and a coke with lots of crushed ice. And some Twizzlers. And a Tasty Kake.
