Cook the Book: 'In the Small Kitchen'

Ahh, my first kitchen. Shared with one of my best friends, it was a sink on one side of the room, sharing a wall with our bathroom - so if the bathroom sink got plugged up, it all came up in the kitchen sink. We had about 2 square feet of counter space alongside the oven, of which was right in front of our back door, so we nearly had to open the back door in order to open our oven door. It was cramped - we'll just say that.

What Did You Eat Today?

I like your idea - because I totally agree. It's fun to hear what people eat, especially for new ideas. It's so easy to make different things and still buy the same kind of foods at the grocery store. For dinner we had peanut butter and jelly french toast. It's delish. I wasn't in the mood to make anything special because I planned to make cookies later, just for fun. But it goes perfect with a tall glass of milk! yummo!
