Russian/Ukrainian restaurants?

Having explored this topic in depth. I can tell you that there are plenty of authentic Russian restaurants. Most serve Ukranian borscht and the usual eastern european fare. Go down to Sheepshead Bay or Brighton Beach and pick one. XO is very nice, done in a traditional "hunting lodge" style, is on the bay, and has Russian crepes in a French style. Whatever restaurant you choose, so long as soup with chopped up hot dogs is on the menu, and everything comes with mushroom sauce, you know you've found the real thing.

Kalbi Tacos

Tell him it's North Korean, and the Red Chef will make anything so long as it has r*d bean sauce.

Kalbi Tacos

I love the hangul name on the side of the van "Kim's To Go". Throw in a bulgogi taco and we can talk, but kalbi tacos are a very good idea. And I'm not the world's biggest fusion fan.

Hmm. I wonder if it's worth trying? Tacos are already so good in my Chicago neighborhood. Would I miss the rice? I might first try garnishing my taqueria bought tacos with some chopped kim chee first.
