The folks want lamb for Easter dinner
Ok so Orthodox Easter is coming up and MIL is coming for dinner. I know she would like lamb. I've never cooked lamb before for one thing and my dh absolutley hates lamb including the smell of it cooking. My idea is to get lamb chops of some kind to grill outdoors where I can cook a little chicken on the side for the hubby. The other issue is that MIL will want it very very well done...(sick and wrong I know but that's how she is) so I want to have individual pieces.
My question is what cut of lamb should I look for and what are your suggestions for seasonings and such? I'm timid when it comes to cooking red meat, especially when it's kind of expensive. Thanks in advance.
