It does seem a little unfair, however, not to distinguish between French and American buttercream. It would appear that the SE crew favors the French style from the top choices.
When did the prices go up? $125 for dinner and $95 for wine pairing last night; we were caught off guard, mistakenly expecting $85 with the options of $50, 85 or 120-something pairings. It was painful--the shock. Though the food was amazing, we hadn't budgeted for a meal that cost nearly $200 more than expected. The website has an update now, but I swear that wasn't there when we reserved...
