Seltzer/Club Soda: Way or No Way?

I love it! I think it is a great substitute for plain old water.

What do you put in your oatmeal?

There's so many things I love in oatmeal: almond milk, apple sauce, chocolate covered cocoa nibs, bananas, nuts, granola... :)

Cheap, nonperishable, healthy snack recipes?

The site Yummy Diet Food has my favorite low calorie, healthy snack list. My personal favorites (that aren't perishable) are: trail mix, snikiddy grilled cheese puffs, pistachios, fiberful bars, and clif z bars.

Reddi-wip or Cool Whip: Way or No Way?

I like all natural tru-whip instead of cool whip since it is all natural. In terms of what I put into my whipped cream -- I sometimes add cocoa powder. :)

Eggnog: Way or No Way?

I love egg nog! My favorite is actually Soy Nog (which I don't think has egg or milk in it). It is delicious! :) They also make egg nog tea now called "eggnog'n". It is a great way to get the flavors of egg nog without the calories. :)

Addicted to Food

I eat good food but I always eat in moderation. You also have to be incredibly picky, meaning that if a food isn't a 7 or higher on a scale of 1-10 you should probably pass. I'm a big fan of healthy (aka not artificial) low calorie foods that are also tasty that help me keep my weight in check. Some favorites are fage yogurt, string cheese, trail mix, chocolate covered cocoa nibs. Good luck!!

You could check out the Yummy Diet Foodblog for ideas! Or, maybe the Mayo Clinic recipe site (one of my favorites!)

PIZZA! Thick crust or thin crust?

My favorite is definitely thick crust pizza!! I'd rather eat the crust than the pizza itself in most cases.

*easy*romantic*healthy* recipes!

Chicken parm is pretty easy to make. You might want to try searching the Betty Crocker recipe site online for some ideas. They tend to provide delicious recipes that most people can easily make. Good luck!! :)

trying to change eating habits

I agree with a lot of the comments above. There are different kinds of eating healthy and you are ultimately going to have to decide what you value most. For me, I steer clear of foods made with artificial sweeteners and hydrogenated oils, and for the most part, I like to eat low calorie. I sometimes reference the Yummy Diet Food site for ideas of foods that work for me. You might want to consider starting to shop in a store like Whole Foods, or starting to prioritize eating fruits and vegetables. I think the best first step is to clean out all of your cabinets, and then go to the stores with some "rules" for what you will and will not buy. Good luck!

Coconut: Way or No Way?

I'm a huge coconut fan! I wish it didn't add so many calories to foods. I've come to really adore a few products made with coconut milk instead of regular milk like yogurt and ice cream. A huge personal favorite for me right now is Nada Moo Ice Cream which has a coconut milk base, but also comes in flavors. Another place I like to add coconut is to trail mix. :)
