Why Do Phở Restaurant Names Usually Involve Numbers?

I live in Oklahoma City, which has a Vietnamese population and Vietnamese district (http://www.okcasiandistrict.com/) and probably a dozen Pho restaurants, only one with numbers in the name

Grilling: Butterflied Leg of Lamb

I've noticed that when I grill meat with citric acid as part of the marinade, it looks similar. The tahini probably contributes as well. Great photos!

How Do You Slip the Waiter Extra Tip Money?

I eat regularly at an authentic Mexican taco restaurant in Oklahoma City and I take friends there all the time for business lunches. I make it clear right up front when we get up to pay, "I eat here a lot so make sure you tip." I think the best way to go is to be up front with people

'Gourmet' Magazine: 1941–2009

I remember my mom having stacks and stacks of Gourmet around when I was a kid. She took me to a crepe restaurant around that same time in Oklahoma City and told me that it was the type of food they wrote about in Gourmet. This is a big loss, but I do understand that the times change.
