Sugar Rush: Saint's Alp, Reopened

So glad it's back! The almond bubble tea is a personal favorite. I'll miss the faux brick walls, though, unless they're still there!

Mikey's Burger in the Lower East Side Makes Me Want More Kewpie Mayo

....kicking myself for moving out of the LES....

Taste Test: The Best Babka in New York City

I had no idea Russ & Daughters gets their babka from another source! Green's is pretty darn tasty then.

A Sandwich a Day: Roast Chicken Sandwich at Milanes

I hope that the gloomy weather clears up so that I can trek to this place for lunch sometime soon! That sandwich looks so much better than the other midtown lunch options.

Apps Only: Roebling Tea Room

Wow. That mac & cheese looks incredible! I'll have to try it.

Sugar Rush: A New Trio of Sweets at Locanda Verde

That apple cinnamon roll looks incredible! I think I stared at that picture for 10 minutes straight.

Apps Only: Ed's Lobster Bar

I love this idea! Keep 'em coming.

What's Your Favorite Cold-Weather Meal?

Chili! I made a big pot of it today.

Dom DeMarco, Di Fara to be featured on new TLC show 'Craving Comfort'

Dom DeMarco needs to stop getting so much press so he can reduce the cost of his $5 single slice :(

What's Your Favorite Fried Chicken In New York?

Raising the Bar: Clerkenwell, A Gastropub on the Lower East Side

Lunch for One: Panya in the East Village

oops, I mean $3.75. Wishful thinking..

Lunch for One: Panya in the East Village

all's I know is the price of that outrageously cheap/delicious-looking American Breakfast was definitely included. $.375?! hot damn.

Lunch at Del Posto: A Four-Star Italian Gamble Pays Off

I'll take each and every one of these dishes. But if I ate a lunch like this, I'd have a VERY unproductive afternoon!

What's Your Favorite Burger In New York?

Bonnie's in Park Slope and Black Iron Burger in the East Village

Seriously Delicious Holiday Giveaway: Russ & Daughters Brunch Package

poached eggs, well-done bacon, and the polenta cubes from Brooklyn Diner!

One Great Lunch: Cascabel Taqueria on the Upper East Side

This looks delicious -- especially the cemita. How big are the tacos? They look a lot more sizable than the ones at La Superior in Williamsburg. I feel like that place touts a similar menu, and it was mentioned in the NYT $25 & under briefs. I was pretty disappointed about the size of the tacos though. Yeah, they're $2.50 a pop, but your stomach's still growling even if you eat 3 of them.

Sugar Rush: Banana Oatmeal Cake at Sweet Revenge

wow..that oatmeal streusel topping is the icing on the cake (no horribly lame pun intended). looks great!

Good, moderately-priced restaurants near Penn Station?

My dad is coming into Manhattan tomorrow to see a Knicks game with me. I want to take him to a decent restaurant in the area for dinner, which I know is an ambitious endeavor (it's pretty slim-pickin's over there!). I'm thinking $15-23 for entrees. Any suggestions?
