Kudos to you on your incredible pie tonight. Thanks for being so gracious and speaking with me. The Kuban was outstanding; the sausage was some of the best I've ever tasted. To echo what Adam Kuban said; i like the fact that they were chunks and not slices. A job well done. Your pie puts other NY places to shame. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other pies on the menu. Next time I'll be in with some friends. Since the wine list isn't done yet...really nice touch with the Mexican Coke. I can't stand anything with HFCS. No wonder we are an obese nation. again...a job well done.

I went to Paulie Gee's for the fist time tonight and ordered a Kuban (Hot sausage red onion and fresh mozzarella). The waitress came over and very graciously asked me if the pie was too charred. I said...no problem. I know I'm not a purist, but as someone who grew up in Jersey eating thin crust crispy pie...I loved the fact that Paulies pie had some crunch too it. In fact, my complaint with UPN when it was in the city was that though the ingredients were impeccable..the pie had no crunch whatsoever. i realize that classic Neapolitan pizza is not supposed to be super crispy..but hey what do i know?
