Nick,
I'm thinking Blue 9 Burger has the best delivery burger in the neighborhood. Of course my clinical addiction to In n Out spawns a great bias in this case.

Seriously Delicious Holiday Giveaway: Two Peter Luger Steaks
After years as a rib-eye man, I've spent the last year addicted to NY Strip.
Cook the Book: 'Simple Italian Snacks'
When in doubt either marinated olives and other antipasto items, or guacamole.
Cook the Book: 'Baked, New Frontiers in Baking'
My mother cannot, does not, and would not bake, even if it were my last meal. However, she did make an amazing fruit compote that she folded into Russian deli-bought crepes. Despite my current affinity for the chocolate chip cookie, that compote was THE childhood dessert. Also, compote is a funny word.

It may not be the most popular, but brussel sprouts with bacon is easily my favorite side.

Well, I've had the same unopened bottle of Liquid Smoke in my fridge for over 2 years, yet I refuse to donate or throw it out for fear that one night I will awake with a brilliant application.
Lately I have substituted Vidalias or other sweet onion for all my onion use. They are so delicious no matter how prepared (even eaten like an apple) that I can't seem to stock enough. To add fuel to the fire, Wegmans only had 3 left a few days ago. Apparently, I'm not the only one with the obsession.
Weekend Book Giveaway: 'Asian Dining Rules'
I made the classic Christmas Story mistake. A complete slip of the tongue had me order a Carifornia Rorr from my local sushi bar. Luckily it was a phone order, and I never had to look the employee in the face. Despite the avoided face-to-face shame, I was nevertheless the color of maguro.
Cook the Book: 'The Sweeter Side of Amy's Bread'
Easily the snickerdoodle. If only to say snickerdoodle at a higher than average rate.
Cook the Book: 'The Cook's Country Cookbook'
Nothing beats a great homemade cherry pie.
Cook the Book: 'Fat'
When I was a kid, my mother would make a New Year's goose and refrigerate the fat. Literally anything sauteed in that fat is elevated to Himalayan heights.
Cook the Book: 'Giada's Kitchen'
On a recent trip to Napa, I picked up a bottle of Round Pond's Meyer Lemon olive oil. Its fantastic on its own, but creates a superbly flavorful and aromatic pasta sauce when sauteed with garlic, red pepper flakes, and cherry tomatoes. Substituting traditional olive oil and lemon zest only begins to approach infused citrus flavor.

Alright, let's go deeper. Uh, what kind of man are you? Well, you're weak, spineless, a man of temptations, but what tempts you?
You're a portly fellow, a bit long in the waistband. So what's your pleasure? Is it the salty snacks you crave? No no no no no, yours is a sweet tooth.
Oh you may stray, but you'll always return to your dark master, the cocoa bean.

If you could you'd guzzle it by the gallon! Ovaltine! Hershey's! Nestlé's Quik!
