Mushroom risotto with scallions and a mountain of parmesan, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention that for meat-eaters, this dish is definitely enhanced by bacon. I echo Tyler Florence (and probably countless others) when I say that bacon really should be an honorary vegetable.

Do you leave your butter sit out at room temp?

The nice thing about butter is that if it is remotely bad/rancid, you will know it as soon as you taste it! Butter won't go bad left out (but covered) for at least a week, if not longer (butter never lasts that long in my house).

Hello! My name is bndraldy and I am a chocoholic! I'll take it any way I can get it. I indulge in chocolate every way possible! I would even bathe in it if I could. I love the flavor and the aroma of everything chocolate! One of my favorite things is a Texas Sheet cake. The frosting is like old fashioned fudge (pre-marshmallow creme).
