I don't count grom gelato or Jacques Torres ice cream sandwiches as guilty pleasures--they're both legit in my eyes. Nor do I count a pint of Ben & Jerry's in one sitting as I do that too frequently for it to actually be riddling my conscience. No, no, my guilty pleasure sweets are either a tooth-enamel-melting 2 pounds of Sour Patch Kids or my boyfriend's mother's "Pretzel Salad:" A butter, sugar, pretzel crust (ground in a food processor), 2 cups of cool whip and more sugar folded into 2 packs of no-holds-barred cream cheese, and then two packages of strawberry jello with a pound of pre-frozen strawberries mixed in.

Forgive me if this posts twice, but I think my first attempt was eaten...
My grandpa used to make "Poison" - a recipe he learned in the army. Later I learned this was actually Dulce de Leche: boil a can of sweetened condensed milk for three hours, freeze it for three hours, open up and eat.
