salad, veggies, brie and bread. those are always good matchups. although I could probably just snack on the brie all day and then end up not eating the bird!
when i visited NYC in the summer, i think alot of my meals were from street vendors. it's nice to just grab something quick and sit outside.
I've been searching for some good sweet potato recipes. But I don't really enjoy goat cheese, so I'm not sure what I should use as a substitute for it.

Dorie, I like using applesauce, keeps the calorie count down...and it was moist inside, little crunch with the topping...a winner. thanks.

My URL: www.honest-food.net
What it's about/tagline: Found foods, foraging, unusual veggies, wild game and fish -- all with serious eating in mind. I am a cook who hunts, not a hunter who cooks. My bent is the Mediterranean (Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal) although I have a weakness for American recipes from the 1600s and 1700s. I also review wines from both the Mediterranean and from my local regional wineries in the Sierra Foothills, Lodi and Clarksburg.

It's called Fast Food Feminist .
Today's story is about a Christmas ham in what used to be East Berlin.
I haven't told the story of how I was given the name "Fast Food Feminist" yet. That's probably like a New Year's Day story. :)
Our "appetizer" was sweet and sour meatballs! Not a vegetable-sneaker if I've seen one :)
