Only way to improve it is to sub cashew butter for the peanut butter or tahini... maybe a few chopped cashews added as well?

The taco isn't too bad- fewer calories than a couple of the fresco menu items. Added fire sauce helps. But the burrito, at 800 calories almost half of which are from saturated fat, is a gut bomb. Add 1230 milligrams of sodium, and you're done for the day....

Question of the Day: Ever consider a food-related tattoo?

I have a duck on my right upper arm with a heart and a banner that says DUCK FAT, and below that a bracelet of the native chilepetins- they are small, like THai bird chilies, and have heart shaped leaves, so my husband's name is in one of the leaves. Left arm is a grape bunch with "Zinfandel" above and "Primitivo" below. Bracelet for that arm will likely be basil and tomatoes, but I am also looking for someone willing to do the Time Magazine portrait of Ms. Julia on my back.

I'm sorry but THREE tablespoons of peanut butter is not a "lightened" version. Is there any cold noodle recipe out there that calls for NO pb? I'm sure this is great, but some of us really have to cut fat...

And if you're in a hurry, the peanut sauce can be made with chili-garlic sauce if you keep that sort of thing in the fridge. For days when I don't feel fiddly.

i love love love love love taco bell, and i have never had any digestive problems from this vendor. I have tried the volcano taco, and found it spicy-for spicy's sake, but not flavorful at all! Although I am curious about the burrito's higher meat content, which may make up for the lack-luster flavor of the taco. I guess I am just lucky to have low blood pressure and can have as much sodium as I want, and that my husband has banned me from taco bell except for every 1/300 urges. Haha.

taco bell isn't that bad for fast food. I'll eat some of the items on the menu, I just make sure i don't get the sour cream. it doesn't taste that great and just adds calories. i still feel better (less full and gross) than when i eat at a "burger" joint. maybe once every two months.

As much as I love food, I can't think of a cool food-related icon I'd want permanently inked on my body. I love pho, but I can't imagine printing a bowl of pho on me. I'd especially be angry if they included onions and cilantro. :P
