The Vegan Experience, Day 10: Surprise! 7 Foods You Thought Were Vegan!
I am a vegetarian and I was recently appalled to find out that dryer sheets are covered in animal fat! Sneaky bastards!
Now I only use Mrs. Meyer's dryer sheets.
Thanks for the tips/links!
Super Bowl Giveaway: California Avocado Gift Box for Guacamole-Making
Avocados - mmmmmm - one of my guilty pleasures. I simply split the creamy gem in half, karate chop the pit to remove, sprinkle with sea salt, and sink my spoon into the buttery yumminess. I eat the whole thing and I don't care who knows about it.

Sandwich a Day: Traditional Panini at Mosswood Cafe in Boonville, CA
Ahhhh, this post brought back memories! I lived in Anderson Valley for about seven months in 1997 and I loved every minute. The Anderson Valley Brewing Company has wonderful food and, of course, brews too! This area is so sublime and the people are wonderful - definitely worth the trip off the typical Napa Valley path!

No-Bake Chocolate Pumpkin Mousse Pie
I ended up not adding cocoa to the graham crackers - just kept it simple. People LOVED this pie! It was soooo much lighter in texture than traditional pumpkin pie that it was perfect for after a big meal. Thanks for the great recipe! It will be made every year!
Andrew Carmellini's World's Best Biscuits. End of Story.
I'm sure the honey glaze is good but I personally like my biscuits smothered in butter. Period.

I do not partake in coffee - but my husband is quite the fiend. Black. Strong. Hot.
No-Bake Chocolate Pumpkin Mousse Pie
Help! I am going to be making this for Thanksgiving dinner today and I was unable to find chocolate wafers OR chocolate graham crackers! I bought regular graham crackers as a substitute - in order to emulate the chocolatiness of the original recipe, can I add cocoa to the graham crackers or will that be too powdery tasting or weird?? Any other suggestions?
