Hello I’m the kitchen of delorenzos id actually like to say I’m delorenzos... I’m the dude that runs the back room. You know hutson street is where the dawn of deloz started with the legend and legacy of my man chick! that’s why you have to come and show your appreciation and come get a legendary pie.... when I leave I got to many stories not to be part of delorenzos.

I grew up in Trenton and now live (23 years) in the San Francosco Bay area. My wife and I miss DeLorenzo's so much that we have taken up the art of pizza making DeLorenzo style. We're pretty close!! We always make sure that we pay a visit to Rick's place on Hamilton Ave. whenever we make the visit back that always includes time at the Jersey shore, LBI rocks! In my early twenties I lived for a time on South Clinton Ave. and would always go to Hudson St., and loved it. But my heart is still at Hamilton. Hey, to the post about Chick and Nello's - Chick and Nello grew up on Roebling Ave. and were neighbor's of my mother-in-law. No relation to Hudson St. but the restaurant , Homestead Inn,(old farmhouse) on Kuser Rd has the best steaks and pasta anywhere. I took my wife there for a unbelievable lunch of pasta and Soave Bolla forty four years ago when we were just 16 !!! You know the routine - whataya want for dinner? no menu -cash only, and the best food East of the Mississippi!! Hey, Minneapolis - "Hang in there" they'll get it eventually!!

Grew up in Trenton area, always a Hudson St. fan, but would go to Hamilton or even Marruca's. Husband #1 would insist we go to Hudson St. on every trip to NJ. Parents then moved out of the area. Told Husband #2 about Hudson St. for years but never had a chance to take him. Then they opened up a branch in Washington Twp., which is on our way home from the OFF (Old F**** Farm) and he still can't believe how good it is. Always a line, always people from all over the country. Does anyone know if the Chick referred to in this blog is the same Chick as in the place in Hamilton that we used to call Chickenello's (until I found out that it was Chick and Nello's?

Just as an FYI, The DeLorenzo's located at 530 Hudson Street in Trenton NJ has changed its hours of operation:

Open Thursday-Sunday, Closed Monday-Wednesday.
