Favorite foods: uhmmmmmm... is food too trite of a response? Even if it's true?? Ok, to be more specific~ dark chocolate, avocado, spicy red hot veggies and silken tofu, anything Mexican or Indian as long as it's authentic and no beef/pork.

Last bite on earth: Either veggie burgers smothered in veggie chili, nacho cheese and jalapenos, or a homemade authentic Mexican meal or a homemade authentic Indian meal.

Stately Scoops: What Ice Cream Flavor Represents Your State?

Hmm, how do you memorialize the Show Me State and the Gateway to the West?? I think it's pretty obvious what MO is known for- we'd have to go with a nice frosty Budweiser Float!

I was sent a recipe for pepper steak (I think?). I had to decline because I don't eat beef and hubby is out of town. I signed up 2 weeks ago as well. Would have LOVED the tomato soup recipe darnit!!

FDA: Clones Are Safe to Eat

Thank you drastic for taking the words right out of my mouth! It's about diversity. Look what happens to our fruit and vegetables when we focus on keeping only one line of the best. After time it begins to lose it's flavor and integrity. Thus the big push for heirlooms as an example.
If we know that simply letting a bird run around and be wild can effect the flavor of it's eggs- why not even entertain the idea that carbon copying it's DNA might also have an impact?

Cook the Book: 'The Vegetable Dishes I Can't Live Without'

OH! I love my Moosewood cookbooks. I didn't realize this book was out so to be honest if I don't happen to win one it won't matter cause I'll buy it anyway. (Wait...I shouldn't have shared that, should I? I obviously talk too much- ignore me.)
My veggie dish to die for is: Veggie chili! I actually prefer vegetarian chili loaded with fresh veggies, black beans and ancho chili peppers over any other kind. And if you smother it all over a veggie burger I'm comatose with happiness for days.

They have cheap brie and those 100 calorie chocolate bars. Also, the dried fruit and veggie chips. Oh! There's also almond milk, trail mix, spinach pies when I'm too lazy to make my own...

I've heard of lobster ice cream but I can't say it sounds appealing. We ((MA) are the home of Fluff though, and NECCO wafers. How about a Marshmallow Fluff with NECCO mix-ins?

As a former Cincinnatian, I miss Graters. We don't have them in NE Ohio. What seems common in most Ohio ice cream dairies like Velvet, Pierres, Reiter, Homemade Brand, Graters, mom and pop roadsides and so forth is the use of peanut butter and chocolate to imitate the buckeye candy. So, I nominate a vanilla ice cream with broken bits of buckeyes swirled through it.

I a no-roll pizza bianca, too, but it calls for portabella mushrooms and taleggio cheese. Looks interesting, but not sure I'll have a chance to try it. Not to mention, could be tough finding the taleggio cheese around here...
