Oh, I love olives so very much. It's a toss-up between a buttery cerignola or the always delicious kalamatas...

I usually leave the grilling to someone else...though I'm still trying to work out the timing on veggies for the grill pan, the past couple of times I've combined things that have very different cook times which results in either undercooked or charred.

Definitely depends on the mood...right now, I'd have to go with a baked shrimp scampi. mmm.

That's tough...oven-roasted broccoli or cauliflower is amazing flavorwise for a simple veggie...but avocado & montery jack grilled cheese sandwiches are awfully good too!

The funniest (both at the time and in retrospect) was the time that I left the last batch of Festive Winter Holiday cookies in the oven to go out on and fetch more supplies for icing, giving my DH instructions to take them out in 10 minutes when the timer rang. Came back home over an hour later, and guess what was still charring away in the oven?
Store-Bought Chicken Stocks, Reviewed: Which Are the Best?
I'll sit with the Better Than Bouillon fans. Homemade is great to have around, and I do make & freeze what I can. But the BTB stuff is compact, organic, cheaper than the other pre-mades, and great to have around when you need just a splash or so of stock.

Jell-O Pudding Pops were my store-bought fav...I don't know if you can buy them anymore, but my mom's rugelach far outshone those...and still does. Mmmm.

I have a couple of pumpkins from my CSA, so that Pumpkin Cheesecake with the marshmallow sour-cream topping sounds super-yummy right now!
I'm looking for a specific cheese -- can you name it?
Perhaps something similar to Gjetost? It's a funky orange-brown color, and I think it's rather unpleasant raw.

What an evil question! Right now, I'd go with a Dark Bacchus (rum raisin ganache) from La Maison du Chocolat (or heck, the whole dark assortment)...or possibly a homemade Rose Levy Bernbaum's Brownie Puddle so I could have the full chocolate experience of watching it melt and being able to lick the spoon!

I love ALL olives. The more the merrier. Kalamata, Black, Green, Nicoise bring it on! What a beautiful idea & a great opportunity! I would love to showcase this on my site!

I too prefer olives in their oil iteration.

I actually don't love olives: I like tapenades and things, but am not a huge fan of eating olives by themselves.
...but I sure do love olive oil :)
Weekend Giveaway: Nudo Olive Tree Adoption
Yum! Warm mixed olives with fennel, orange zest and Anaheim chile. My favorite olive is the gaeta.
Weekend Giveaway: Nudo Olive Tree Adoption
My olive of the moment is garlic-stuffed green. Yum!

I have never meet an olive I didn't love. Since I am just back from Madrid, I will say arbequina olives with a nice red wine at an outdoor tapas bar.
Weekend Giveaway: Nudo Olive Tree Adoption
Not really a huge fan of olives but olive oil is a wonderful thing.

I still remember the first time I had a kalamata olive. I was 13 years old, and my family had decided to picnic with some friends along a river. One person had brought along a bunch of kalamatas and was raving about them. I was eager to try one, but when I did, I thought they were awful. But after eating them at random intervals over the years, I've grown to love them; they're now my favorite :)
Weekend Giveaway: Nudo Olive Tree Adoption
been craving saltiness lately and it's been satiated with the kalamata olives. :)
Weekend Giveaway: Nudo Olive Tree Adoption
the little spanish arbequina olives, hands down.
Weekend Giveaway: Nudo Olive Tree Adoption
I love olives! My favorite depends on my mood - sometimes cerignola, sometimes arbequina, sometimes picholines, sometimes nicoise, sometimes picual, sometimes manzanilla - give them all to me.
