Burger from Standard Tap in Philadelphia
I remember having great burger at Standard Tap, but I haven't been back since I began my own Philly burger quest (and started a blog about it). The Royal Tavern is tops for me so far but I've barely made a dent in the supposed top 10.

Amazing, can't wait to try this recipe. And such great info. I've had chuck, lamb, pork burgers that were really good. 8oz Burger bar in LA makes theirs out of sirloin, tri-tip, and short rib which is fantastic as well, but it's not quite as firm as I would like.

I used to think Duffy's was the best on the Island, but my dad turned me on to Jody's last year and I think they win out. Same style - super think and juicy burger on an English Muffin, but for some reason the muffin holds up to the burger much better than at Duffy's. I think they might use one of those extra large muffins, but either way it's fantastic. They also use less cheese which keeps the meat from getting overwhelmed.
