Clearing / cleaning the palette helps you to taste and smell your food and drink without any residue. That is why I feel delicate foods and drinks are best enjoyed after a cold winter exercise. Your nose and tongue are re-freshed and can really pick out the full enjoyment.

My favorite food memories are of hot food on a cold day. Hot chocolate, soups, grilled cheese sandwiches, etc... are best on a cold day.

Prime Rib soup with vegies made this the cooked / seasoned end cuts of the prime rib. It was a full meal in one large bowl with all those traditional vegies. Potatoes, bean, corn, onions, all the fall vegies. yummy and good.
