Muffin Myth-Busting: Don't Waste Your Time Tossing Berries in Flour

Very interesting! I've always tossed berries in flour too. It was taught to me by my grandma, I believe. However, I never used extra flour, I just tossed them in the flour already measured out, then folded the berries and flour in at the end. That's always worked for me.

I feel like doing some science on this myself now since I don't add the extra flour. Seem pretty obvious they would sink too though since the oven melts the batter before it bakes and forms, if that makes sense?
