Is Billy's Pan Pizza in the Stieg Larsson Millennium Trilogy Real? Yes, It Is

And, they're not that good. Actually they're pretty crappy. Mostly dough, sad toppings and poor quality. But, cheap.

P.J. Clarke's Revamped Burger Leaves Me Longing for the Old

This has been my favorite place for burgers since 1980. And my fathers before me. Now I'm just sad. I hope they bring the old burger back, I want to have a reason to travel to from Sweden to NY with my son and introduce him to the best burger ever.
(I guess I will anyway but we will have to find another place maybe?)

Burger King Releases the Angry Whopper

This has been a huge hit in Sweden (was on the meny some time ago) and I got the opportunity to talk to one of the Product Developers from BK, he told me that this is the first burger to "go the other way" = first be introduced in the EMEA's and then go to the North American markets. But. as a twist - he got the idea from a swanky restaurant in NYC("davidburke & donnatella"?) who had a "angry lobster" on the menu - a lobster with jalapeños amongst other ingredients - and that triggered the angry whopper idea.

Still, it's a good burger, but I wouldn't call it angry, more "mildly annoyed".

P. J. Clarke's: A Pub That Doesn't Serve a Pub Burger

As I "inherited" the tradition of going to P.J Clarke's from my dad, I have to say that is one of the best burgers in my book. Every time in NY(from Sweden, not there that often) I have to go. Still, I wish that I had ordered something else than the home fries last time, a little bit to mushy, little or no onions and quite a bland dish as a whole.
But the simplicity of the burger and the quality of the meat really makes this worthwile.
(and thanks for a great blog)
