Thanks for the tip! I drove out to Stockton yesterday and came home with a grass-fed lamb roast, farm fresh eggs, thyme, artisanal cheese, oyster mushrooms and lemon honey sticks. I'll definitely be back.

Almond croissants from Pasticceria Bruno on Staten Island (same people as Bruno Bakery on Laguardia -- not sure if the almond croissants are the same though).

Count me in as one of those annoying Californians. Fortunately, I am on Staten Island, where we have a handful of good Mexican taquerias. I'll have to give this place a try next time I am in the city and hungry.
