I was just at Katz the other week - it's my traditional last meal of the year - and I have to agree that after close scrutiny, the rye there doesn't really hold up well. I often find myself just taking out the meat and eating pieces as is... but perhaps that's the point.

Two Little Red Hens - indeed a fine cheesecake, and my preferred one since I live just a couple of blocks away. But nothing takes me back to my childhood more than the olf Zabars mini cheesecakes...

I love Japanese bread. And in Japan, at least until recently, all bread is the same, no mater what the shape - bagel, baguette, etc. All the same consistency on the inside.

Love Cascabel - they actually make a great vegetarian taco, which makes me feel healthy after having their succulent beef rib. Hope they keep it up!

Well it would depend on what keeps best, don't you think? I'd look at it that way. I'd wait on the turkey until Friday night - I find it doesn't keep as well and the delay until Sunday may be too long, no?
