Location: Palm Springs, CA
About: Sometime nomad. Love new tastes, cultures, cities, wilderness. Pretty good shutter bug. Transplanted southerner (TN) came out west via Nashville, Chicago, San Francisco. Currently in SoCal wondering where I will land next. All suggestions welcome.
Favorite foods: The food I grew up on (southern, low country cooking), cheeses, bittersweet chocolate, red wine, olives, lemons, french bread, Krystals and sweet tea. Next favorite would be mediterranean cuisine, but nothing beats my mama's biscuits and spoon bread. :)
Last bite on earth: Granny's fried chicken (she marinated it in buttermilk and crystal hot sauce prior to frying up), fresh wilted spinach, southern spoon bread and Mrs. Simon's paradise cake (all cooked by my Mom or my Granny).
Store bought, a couple of weeks. Home made or fresh from the oven slathered with butter (and maybe honey)...pretty much inhaled completely in one fell swoop (minutes from oven to tummy).
