Win a Serious Eats Edition KettlePizza Baking Steel Combo for Father's Day!

My dad is either a sausage guy, or "that guy" with a bacon-double-cheeseburger order every now and then. He's nuts! But of course, I love him.

The Best Valentine's Day Giveaway Ever: Lobel's 4" Prime Dry-Aged Heart Shaped Steaks for Two

Hot pan, salt and pepper, finished with some compound butter and served with some garlic mashed potatoes. We stay in and cook a steak dinner for every Valentine's Day, so this is particularly fitting. Thanks guys!

The Serious Eats Guide to Thanksgiving Beer Pairing

I'd like to add Odell's Fernet aged Porter to the list of dessert beer pairings. We had it at a dinner party a few weeks back with a chocolate-based dessert and it was one of the best suited beers for coursing I've had in recent memory. Thanks for the list of ideas!

What I Learned at the Great American Beer Festival: A Brewer's Perspective

Your suspicions are somewhat correct- Almanac's beers are some of the ones my fiance (a brewer here in Denver) and I are still talking about after the festival. Cheers!

Excellent Tiny Wieners at Hot Dog Charlie's in Cohoes, NY

@Cirilism Hattie's in Saratoga is a good spot for Fried Chicken! I second a stop at Oscar's too. Check out Fussy Little Blog or Tablehopping (from the Times Union) for other recommendations, they do a good job of upstate coverage.

Excellent Tiny Wieners at Hot Dog Charlie's in Cohoes, NY

Aw man, this is making me homesick! We used to go to Charlie's after school all the time. I think you guys have already written up Famous Lunch and Gus' but those are two other standout spots for these little guys.

Poll: Sriracha on Pizza, Way or No Way?

Has no one mentioned Frank's redhot? That is the only hot sauce to use for pizza! Maybe some cholula or tabasco in moments of desperation...

Poll: Pasta on Pizza, Way or No Way?

Pasta pizza (AKA a baked ziti slice) is the best thing to eat after a night of drinking, for sure.

Poll: Pasta on Pizza, Way or No Way?

Pasta pizza (baked ziti slice) is the best thing to eat after a night of drinking, oh man.

Seriously Delicious Holiday Giveaway: The Baking Steel

Lately it's been smoked mozz and pancetta with a swirl of fig jam. Thanks for the opportunity!

A Pizza My Mind: The Best Frozen Pizza, PERIOD.

We always have Totino's Party Pizzas (triple cheese only) in our freezer per my boyfriend's request and lately he has taken to putting thai sweet chili on them before baking. Say what you will, and I am the first to admit that in no way does it resemble pizza, but it definitely hits some weird ex-stoner soft spot for both of us.

Cook the Book: 'Mac and Cheese'

The Rackhouse Pub in Denver CO makes THE best mac & cheese ever. There is beer in it, of course, plus Ritz crackers on top. Amazing.

Cook the Book: 'This is a Cookbook'

Maple bacon salted caramel bread pudding happened recently, and I wasn't mad about it at all.
