The Bobby episode with the lutefisk at church was so hilarious. "The man with the horrible smell!" (RIP Cotton)

have you ever tried making pork green chile (sauce)? ...best thing about living in this part of the country, second only to all the sunshine. seriously.
The 'Pizza Strip': Indigenous to Rhode Island
In Upstate (Capital district) NY, Tomato Pies are served hot and they're round... for the most part. Cold tomato pie sounds more like stoner's delight than anything I'd voluntarily grab from a bakery.
Cook the Book: 'Mrs. Rowe's Little Book of Southern Pies'
Flopping THREE of my grandma's 7-Up Pound Cakes, an incident that is now so delicately referred to by my mother as 7-Up Ton Cake Day.
Video: Squirrel Gets Head Stuck in Yogurt Cup

Stroopwafels for Queen's Day
Fresh ones are amazing. Wandering around most outdoor markets you'll find at least one stand making them to order.
Cook the Book: 'Tacos'
I moved to Denver about a year ago from the northeast. Right away I started a quest for great Mexican and was lucky enough to find a spot two blocks from my house. Double wrapped carne asada tacos for $2.50 a pop are a must for me and my friends at least once a week. The bottomless homemade chips and salsa and $1.75 margaritas on the weekends don't hurt either.
A 'Burger Van' Hamburger Made of Quality Ingredients at Borough Market in London
I'm with you on the cooking method of these burgers - completely deplorable. They may as well just microwave the thing and be done with it.
