What makes a food blog successful?

This is just my opinion just by looking at your blog. You have a very nice header (I wish I have something like that!) I would like to see even spacing between the pictures. It would be nice if the picture sizes are little more consistent. I use GIMP to post process my photos. I’m not a good photographer what so ever, but post processing helps quite a bit. When I made a plain omelet for my husband, he said "this isn't an omelet. There is no cheese in it." He also believes filet mignon is the fattiest part of the meat because it's tender.

I've got one close to my house, too. Love that place. I can't buy spices at regular grocery stores any more. I really don't know how to use most of spices there. Wish I could learn.
