If you want steak you can skip Bob's, Del Frisco and III Forks. Go for Chamberlain's in Addison. It's definitely the best steak in Dallas. Chef Chamberlain makes rounds to all of the tables and the service is fantastic, the menu is always changing. If you try it once you will be hooked, best filet!
Also cut into wedges and grilled! very good
Little bit of salt enhances the sweet flavor! Every thinks I'm weird for salting my watermelon but I think it's delicious.
All of these ideas sound fantastic...some I had already pondered but others did not even cross my mind! Thanks for all of the input!
Love the coffee ice cubes idea, I love iced coffee but I was never really sure how to make it without cooling down hot coffee...I had no idea there was even something like a toddy machine. I have heard of a french press though
I vote for Mexican Lasagna! That sounds delicious! I would try and add some ground beef though
If you don't love to cook, or have an adventurous attitude when it comes to trying to new culinary experiences.
Hey sorry, I thought I included the link in the post, it's here Chef Chamberlain
Wasn't worth the $100 I dropped on dinner and two glasses of wine. Go to Target buy a fondue pot and you can do they same thing at home. Food was OK but nothing special, still not worth it. Or go to a nice steakhouse for the same price.
Chicken parm is OK, Apps is NOT OK, I worked in a pizza place in college and one of our cashiers would always say large che' instead of large cheese...it doesn't even make since
I love Ben and Jerry's, they have creme brulee Ice Cream that really takes like the real thing and I also love the Stephen Colbert Americone Dream.
I'm really going for some good char, I think low heat is the way to go...I have tried to grill it without the husk before but I think the heat was too high and just broiled it...I like the lemon idea I'll have to try it for sure.
When I grilled with the husk on, I think I had too much husk on the corn and it wasn't able to get any good heat on it, I just ended up with a burnt husk lol.
There is a Lawrys Marinade that I really like, It's great on steak and chicken. I believe it is Chipotle Lime and it gives you that really good smokey and tangy flavor. You only need to marinate the meat for about 30 mins prior to grilling. More convenient than making my own marinade and it has a lot of the same flavors I would use if I were to try and make my own marinade.
I have always preferred Pizza Hut Pizza to Domino's but I do remember Domino's being better in the late 80s/early 90s. I will always try to find a hole in the wall pizza joint before I go to the "big boys"--Papa Johns, Dominos, Pizza Hut,etc.
It was the Northeast and I have been to Chamberlain's Steak House in Addison and it was wonderful, but I haven't tried the Fish Market Grill, I'll have to check it out. Thanks!!
You have to check out the Reading Terminal Market at 12th and Arch, there are some great eats in there, but there are so many great little bistros and restaurants in that area it's a great city for finding deals. I would just walk around and see what the area has to offer.
I love to drink Samuel Adams Summer Ale and Harpoon UFO Hefeweizen whilst grilling...
Mackinaw peaches!! lol just kidding....I love eating Ahi Tuna burgers in the summer time! I know that Ahi isn't neccessarily seasonal but I think that they are the perfect light summer food and great for backyard get togethers! I really like this recipe...
Ahi Tuna Burgers
Thanks for the recipe Justin!
I love this recipe, it sounds so delicious. I have never made my own ice cream before, I am excited to try this! I really like the Coldstone Cake batter ice cream but I think mine will be so much better.
