Tomato and Basil still has a fantastic Grandma Slice. South Brooklyn is a damned fine pie, but it is 25 for a plain round, and 30 for a plain sicilian (and I think 4-5 bux for a slice depending on toppings) so it's not quality coming cheap.

Sush of Gari. Might not be quite as good as the upper east side original, but still delicious (and of course ridiculously expensive as well)
The Brunch Dish: Mediterranean Crispy Dough at Miriam, Park Slope
You just called out my favorite brunch of all time. One extra secret to it though - order a side of Labneh, combine that with some of the spicy sauce, egg and crispy dough and you get the most amazing, complex and satisfying bite of food imaginable.

Please go try the lamb burger at Kiwiana in Park Slope...shockingly good - the funky flavor of the lamb really works great with the strong flavors of the traditional kiwi toppings (beets and an egg).
