Oh, I observed this yesterday after a huge Cinco de Mayo dinner. I'm still rolling around painfully from it, but man, that carne asada was worth it!
There was a pizza place out here in Phoenix called Western Pizza--supposedly a chain from Canada--that sold poutine, and it's the only time I've had poutine. It wasn't bad, but considering the hype it's gotten, I was a little disappointed. Maybe it was the lack of squeaky cheese (the cheese curds entry is one of the most entertaining Wiki entries I've ever seen).
Corned beef and cabbage--an odd dish on a Filipino family's table, but it was delicious! It instantly became a favorite!
Hooray--a viable option to Red Planet Cafe and its outer space theme ... although Sedona in its entirety sometimes seems to carry an outer space theme. I love it!
I read somewhere that Conan is over 6' tall--6'-4" according to IMDB.com.
I ate a lot of chik-fil-a out of our college food court, and even though it was pre-bagged and racked (grab it and go), it was always tasty. And I LOVE their waffle fries!
Uh ... I didn't get them all, but I got too many to be comfortable because I always tell people I don't watch much TV.
I'm also freaked out by the ghost walking by the door in the Julia photo. Holy Cheese!!!
I'll admit--I indulged in last season, and I remember how awful Hyde was in this episode. Alternatively, I was hanging out with some friends when one of them, a native Brit, turned on BBC (he said it's just about the only channel they'll watch) and I got to see the show, UK style. It's so different!!! But the results as far as the establishments go are the same--better menu, food, service, look, and restaurant overall.
Wow, lucky duck! I think I gained three pounds just look at that sandwich photo! Welcome home!
I loved it most and have super fond memories of salmon cakes over pasta with marinara. YUMMY!
When I was little my mom would make me grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. It was the best!
My mom used to make a home-cooked meal each and every night. This despite working full time - and without a microwave! The ethnic dishes are the meals I miss the most - chicken and dumplings - kolache - kapusta, YUM! Thanks for this chance.
Sunday dinners were always memorable with fried chicken, gravy, potatoes....the works
probably skirt steak marinated in mustard, so good!
There were four of us and on our Birthday my Mom always made a cake in the shape of an animal. There were bunnies, cats an even a clown. I don't know where she got her ideas.
My mother used to make a terrific chicken spaghetti. It was much different than traditional spaghetti with meat sauce. I asked for it not too long ago, but she had no idea what she had done with the recipe. I guess it is just as well, because it makes a huge roaster pan full. We'd being eating it until next Christmas. LOL
Thanks for the chance to win!
beef stew nothing like homeade beef stew. Did I say Beef Stew!
I know it sounds horrible but the first thing that popped into my head was drinking coca cola with my Capt Crunch in the morning! No wonder I was a chubby child!
