AGTV: Eggs Benedict Arnold
Awesome! LOL.
pumpernickel bagel with thin layer of cream cheese on both sides and a layer of Lotus speculoos in between. =)
That was really great! The title caught my attention because when I was younger, I didn't like eggs at all and we had Eggs Benedict every Christmas morning. My dad would leave the egg off mine and call it, "Eggs Benedict Arnold".
Wheat with peanut butter and sliced banana. One of my pregnancy cravings that never went away. Second fave is pumpernickel with veggie cream cheese.
Nova lover here, also whitefish salad. Funny story when I was pregnant I went to Einstein's Bagels and ordered a cinnamon bagel with nova and cream cheese and onion. The woman who took my order gave me the strangest look. She repeated it to me, I said yes yes pregnant, She nodded and YES it was good. Would not do it today, but them it was good.
Salt bagel with honey nut cream cheese.
Jalapeno bagel with plain cream cheese.
Poppy bagel with plain cream cheese and capers.
I'm with the nova lovers -- open-faced onion, sesame or poppy bagel with cream cheese, nova, onion and tomato (capers are good too). Mmmmm...
I also love a good tuna sandwich on a bagel -- sometimes cinnamon-raisin -- to get the sweet/savory combination.
Cinnamon-raisin bagel with sundried tomato spread....sounds like an odd combination but it works!
I'm with NickDavid . . . with the addition of sliced green olives and pimento.
there was a time when the very idea of the cinnamon raisin bagel used to make me go house. i attributed the complete and rapid decline of the bagel (and the civilized world) to their their existence (less so, but also, to the everything bagel, which i believe is a product of the 1970s.). but, now, after years of therapy, i accept these bagels and the fact that a studio on the lower east side costs 2 grand.
cream cheese and sirracha hotsauce on a sesame bagel- scrumptuousness glory
