Challah For Easter

Thanks so much. They should always overlap. Actually I've recently done some reading on this. Christians were instructed to celebrate passover in the New Testament and even the resurrection on passover (last supper). It was the Romans who forbade it. In fact they offered to eventually recognize Christians (and stop persecuting them) but they were never allowed to celebrate passover. Entire cities were massacred for refusing to stop. Constantine moved the celebration of the ressurection to "Eastre" a pagan holiday

Challah For Easter

Point taken. I really meant no disrespect but I see your point. Would be better for the Feast of the Pentecost when you're able to have leavened bread, no? Its just such a beautiful loaf of bread I thought it would be festive for a holiday and Easter was the closest. Thanks so much!
